Hi everyone! Long time no blog.

A lot has happened since we were last here!

I took 3.5 months off work (which came to an end shortly after my last post). I finished (and published) a book. I acquired a niece. I started a new job, which has been great but also means that, for the first time since I started blogging, I’ve been spending roughly 8.5 hours a day like this:

Which means that by the time I’m finished each day, I’m feeling a little too burnt out to do this:

So I’ve been using my prime afternoon sunlight hours to detox from staring at the medium-sized electric boxes all day long.

The good news (for you) is that soon the sun will be gone by like, 4pm, and I can easily blog while sitting in front of my sun lamp all winter long.

I have bigger things planned, but just wanted to stop by and say ‘hi’ and that I’ve missed you all (and hope you’ve missed me, too)! And of course, I couldn’t leave you without at least one short tale.

Last week, while running errands, I thought my car was breaking down.

But it turned out to just be a man playing the bongos in the passenger seat of the car next to me.

I hope he’s having a good day.
